"The hotel is very close to some beautiful spots in Iceland. We chose it so that we could spend two nights and move from there to different points; it was a great decision! We managed to be out the whole day and came back for really great dinners. We enjoyed our stay very much; the staff made it even more enjoyable."

"We had an excellent stay at Skalakot and wished we could have stayed longer. The property is so beautiful and our room was very spacious. We also really enjoyed the fireplace lounge after dinner. The spa was worth the extra fee and a very relaxing experience. Dinner was so delicious and relaxing as well. We were part of a larger group and that didn’t impact the quality of our meal. Our breakfast was also delicious and the staff even accommodated an early departure with to go boxes and coffee....

The kitchen is furnished with all the necessary stuff and also in the bathroom you will find soap, if you couldn't travel with any in your luggage.
