Shuttle bus stop at the front door will take you to various ski resorts in the area. Staff is excellent, helpful, kind. Restaurant is great! Had use of a ski locker as well. Full locker, not just a place to hang skus and poles. "

"Had higher expectations of the lodging based on pictures and descriptions. Was not a comfortable or clean place to stay for those of us who aren’t in our 20s and who didn’t intend on staying at a large hostel. I love hostels but this was priced like a low cost hotel but without amenities."

"It's a stunning hotel from the time you roll towards Hotel Green Plaza. When you get inside, again some wow factors, some very old vintage structural engineering marvels which you have got to appreciate. Ski-in-ski-out lockers for hotel guests are good, access to cortina is right out the door. Buffet breakfast has a good selection, dinner is also good. Can get extremely crowded during peak times. Rooms are nice with a blend of tatami x western style bedding - however mattresses were quite old for our rooms. You can defintely feel a difference after skiing/snowboarding all day. Location is a bit out of the way and buses can skip the resort so you should either have your own vehicle for convenience or need to plan very well for the shuttle bus. Overall we enjoyed or stay "

"I would avoid staying here unless nothing else is available. It was very expensive for the condition and cleanliness of the hotel room. The shower had mold on the ceiling, walls, in the fan vent, and on the curtain. There was dust and debris indicating the room isn't dusted or vacuumed much, if at all. At $500 a night it was not worth the money. The hotel overall was in need of maintenance and cleaning. The onsen was amazing and clean. The staff was very friendly! The location is fantastic being a 3 min walk to sakka lift at happo one. The hotel has a shuttle that helps get you out in the morning and return in the afternoon. Overall pass unless the price comes down to match what is offered. Or the hotel goes through a deep clean and maintenance. "

"Great slice of cabin in the woods humble abode. Clean and warm. You will need a car with AWD and snow tires if visiting in the winter. Beware though, there are monkeys in the woods and they come out in the warm late afternoon. While they're incredible to see, they're smart so keep your food close, snap some pictures and steer clear of them. "

"Positives, staff was super friendly and helpful, easy walk to Happo One, all you can drink beer and sake included with dinner, plus an ice cream machine. Negatives, super thin walls to room, we could hear our neighbor snoring, breakfast and dinner food not great."
