"This stay was great but short. Everything from the bedding to the lobby to the restaurant was perfect. Only thing that they need to improve is fixing the Jets in the Jacuzzi because the pumps evidently are not working. And if they can make the sauna or steam area hotter would be great .other than that Pura Vida fantastic. Also the best shower ever . Staff very friendly and go out of there way to make your stay memorable "

"Tabacón is an incredible resort! The springs is much larger than you would expect, with many beautiful parts to find privacy and relaxation. The drinks are incredible and views are even better. We indulged in a couples volcanic mud massage- and it was the best massage ever! The spa is beautiful, peaceful and worth it! One thing to consider is that it is a 20minute ride to town, so you are pretty much committed to eating at the resort- which is not cheap. Each drink is $15 and meals are $20 ....

"We loved staying at Los Lagos Spa and Resort. We stayed there with 3 children (13,6,3). They loved the pools - especially the thermal pools. The resort is large so there is a shuttle to bring you to breakfast, the pool, the front desk. They are very fast once you call to request the shuttle. Breakfast had a great variety of food and good local options. They had great drinks at the bar and great bar good while eating at the pool. My kids loved the Virgin Pina Colada in the pineapple. "It was amazing and the hot springs pools were amazing. It was nice a quiet when we checked in. Looked around excited. Went to our beautiful rooms and changed into our bathing suits to relax in the hot springs. When we had gotten back 3 buses of day pass people had arrived and taken all the lounge, chairs and filled up the pools and bar. It was sad. "We had a terrific visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. No Spanish needed. Almost every sign is in English, staff speaks English. Fantastic location to the volcano, and monkeys and birds are easily seen from the property. Highly recommend!"

"I totally recommend staying at this hotel. You get your own villa facing the volcano. They also have two pools that also have a view of the volcano. They have nice trails and amazing breakfast. Easy check in and check out. Friendly staff. Over all great experience. "

"Pictures do not do it justice. Hotel was great room was just right and the cleaned pergevtly everyday we asked for it. Staff was great with bag help and setting up excursions. Location was great 5$ cab to downtown and con vienient to be picked up for excursions. Volcano is right with a great view from the deck!!! Had a few minor things with the restaraunt but still an 8/10. Upstairs there is a small patio for drinks and bar menu, tables had swings for seats, wife loved it. Could use a nice...

"We had a wonderful stay at Noah’s Forest by Tifakara. It is a small and very intimate resort. The grounds are immaculate and all of the staff are helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the self serve coffee machines as well as the complementary breakfast. With its location only 10 minutes from town it makes for a perfect stay in La Fortuna."

"We loved the trails, restaurant and most definitely the chalet. The window view of the volcano was incredible. No one told us we needed a ticket fir check-out. The gentleman at the gate, only do his job, refused to let us leave. It was 545 in the morning. No one was available to tell him to let us out. I ended up getting mad and he let us go. It was sad that our goodbye was like that. The front desk should have told us. Poor guy was just doing his job. "

"The staff are incredible! They were so nice and went over and above to make sure we had a wonderful vacation. The food was excellent as was the bar service by the hot springs. Thank you to everyone whi helped my husband when he fell there and got him to a clinic for stiches so quickly and stayed with him and brought him back to me, you all are the best!"
