"Stayed at a Motel 6 decades ago and vowed never again. We normally stay in Morro Bay but needed a an inexpensive nights stay, since some event jacked SLO's rates sky high this wknd. Reviews were hard to believe, like 8.6 for a Motel 6, everyone said super clean, etc. Honestly, incredibly clean, like bizarrely clean for a Motel 6. No smell when we entered, and no negatives to wrote about. Staff was super nice, tons of parking, and in South SLO next to Courtyard Inn. Kudos to owner."

"We often stay in SLO and the surrounding areas. Always wondered about this property as it’s right off the freeway. It exceeded our already fairly positive expectations. Nice, clean rooms. Great service. Comfortable beds. Close enough to the hwy to be central to so many places, but free from traffic and noise. Views of the hillside from the room were beautiful in the morning. All while affordably priced to move. Would recommend. Book it."
