"As a single woman traveler, I did not feel safe at this property. It was kind of like a ghost town. although there were few travelers at the hotel, there was a plethora of Special Forces armed police. they were everywhere. One day at the "restaurant" - quotes intended - every table was occupied with these police eating off of paper plates. This made me feel especially unsafe. I checked out early"

"This is a beautiful resort! Staff is so friendly and helpful. They really make your stay exceptional! We have been there many times but not in the last 14 years. I would say that the grounds are not kept up as well as in the past, but still very beautiful. Rooms were clean, except for the floor walking around very little without shoes, feet were black. Otherwise very clean. Food is wonderful, service is exceptional. The gym is great! The pool is really the star! If you want to feel spoiled you won’t be disappointed."

"My suite had a kitchen, but the kitchen is bare - no cutlery, no hot water maker, no plates, no dish soap. The furniture had stains and rips everywhere. The toilet stopped working twice"
