"The Agriturismo Il Colle in Bellagio is a gem. The advantage of having parking can not be over emphasized. That is outstanding. It does require a short walk into the town center, but that is not too bad and the parking is totally worth it. The self wine dispenser is a lovely service. The setting is beautiful and it is wonderful to have a glass of wine and admire the lake and mountains. I would certainly stay there again."

"Rita is wonderful! She picked us up at the train station when we arrived. The property is very beautiful and overlooking the lake with fantastic Mountain View. The breakfast at the hotel was very good and the staffs were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed it very much for our 5-night stay."

"Villa Reverie is gorgeous. Aspect looking out across Lake Como is fabulous. Staff are excellent. Customer service exceptional. Would we go again - absolutely. Highly recommend. Having emailed prior to our stay we were collected from the train station by the villa’s shuttle. 2 minute drive (if that). 6minute walk. Welcome on arrival was great. Staff speak good English. Welcome glass of Prosecco (other drinks probably available - but they got us at “Prosecco”). Bags were deposited in our room while we sat and enjoyed the view from the very pretty terrace overlooking Lake Como. The villa has a lift, but stairs between floors are short. There is excellent air conditioning - a bonus as in mid 30’s everyday we were there. There was a mini bar in our room. Some free bottled water each day. We also took up fresh milk every night for coffee in the morning. Breakfast was very good - Self service generous buffet. Our recommendation would be a lakeside view with or without a balcony. We had a street side room, and the road does get a bit busy, but the room is quiet when windows are shut. Bathroom was very well appointed, We weren’t so keen on the floor to ceiling clear glass wall between it and our bed. But it was a small matter overall. Drinks are available all day downstairs. Coffees, teas, wines, beers and standard cocktails. The villa offers a free shuttle to their sister restaurant in the hills above Varenna too. Staff offer excellent recommendations."

"The room was very clean. It was close to the train station, but it was also close to the promenade and ferry. You cannot hear any trains whatsoever. This is not a hotel, we were promised to be contacted one week before check in about its details, however, 3 days before check in nobody contacted us. for us, visiting from different country, in the season where no hotels were available, that was stressful enough. I sent a message via Expedia and was told that someone would contact us shortly. All communication was available only via WhatsUp. The check in instructions were clear and easy. The apartment was very clean and very nicely situated. However, for apartment with kitchen, there was no paper towel. There was only one trash bag. The kitchen was equipped with almost everything but, there was no salt and pepper, no water in the fridge, no ice. There was a coffeemaker but enough coffee for one day only. We couldn't find coffee cups in any store, so we had to purchase some instant coffee. There was not enough toilet paper and there was no tissues at all. The outside patio was OK. Metal furniture served its role, but the cushions for the chairs would be a positive addition to the place."

"this was a stunning hotel. It was exceptionally clean. It made me feel like I was leading lifestyles of the rich and famous. The spa was wonderful. We had a massage and I had a facial that was wonderful. We ate at Mistral their restaurant and this was an experience, but it is very expensive. They had a piano player in the lobby most evenings that was very, very nice. There are other restaurant was also very good and they have a very pretty pool. The views from our room were just superb. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It was so memorable. They also have a very good fitness center but you have to be very fit to get to the fitness center. It is up a hill and in a separate building. Bellagio is a lovely town so it is a lovely place to stay to get the feel of Lake Como."
