"room was extremely dirty, mold all over the shower, hair left in the towels and sheets, brown stains on the towels, the floor was dirty. in desperate need of a deep clean.
they double charged me and still haven’t gotten a refund 5 days later. the first set of room keys they gave didn’t work.
this location definitely needs a renovation or better upkeep, it’s in a great location, right next to the beach and good restaurants. feels generally safe."

"The staff was the best part of the stay - they were great. Would give 5 stars for them alone. The beach amenities and bikes were a plus and made it fun. Room was older and needs updating but nice patio and great to have such convenience to beach and ocean walk all the way to Mission Beach."

"One of the best deals you could find in San Diego! I spent a long time looking for a cheap yet comfortable motel and this was the best option. Had everything you could need for a few days in the city. Room included a fridge, microwave, and TV- all big sizes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Exterior of motel also makes it a comfortable environment. The outdoor decoration and location was a bonus."

"The location was the best! You could walk out and the beach was right there. The walk to shops and restaurants was excellent. Very close to the grocery too.
Our room wasn’t the cleanest and the AC wasn’t that cold. No hair dryer on the whole property so bring your own!
We had a great stay and would stay here again for the beach location. I would say a 3 star hotel is about right in the rating!"

"The parking was very limited. We traveled with two vehicles, but only one car was allowed to park on the property.
The hot water was not hot enough at night. As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a strong kimchi odor. The internet speed was also too slow.
The entire hotel is in need of renovation. Considering the condition of the property, charging $300 per night is completely unreasonable and does not reflect the quality of the accommodations provided."

"It was clean from the room to the bathroom. Hotel breakfast was hot. Staff was super helpful and provided more towels for us as we requested. Super close to everything like Mission Beach, Midway, etc. The hotel was near lots of gas stations and quick food spots which was helpful if we needed a late night snack. Will stay here again if I come back to San Diego."
