"Lovely small hotel perched up top of Rye overlooking fantastic scenery.
Staff welcoming and considerate.
Breakfast is served to your personal choices, centred on English traditional style, which is very good.
No lift, and some pretty steep stairs for us, so will not suit all.
Approach is up a side road, reasonable gradient for luggage on wheels.
Rooms a little tired, but its a very old building must be remembered.
Bed was absolutely fine with clean linen, bathroom well fitted out with nice shower as well as a separate bath.
Clean towels and sundries plentiful.
Good wi-fi.
Definitely recommend if your fit and healthy.
Rye is a little gem, great pubs and restaurants."
