"Weeks before our trip I chatted with someone online and then proceeded to call the front desk of the property to find out if there was self-laundry (something very important to us since we were coming in the afternoon, after 2 weeks traveling and leaving the next day for a 4 day safari). I checked and double checked and was even given hours that it operated and how to pay for it. We arrived and were told there was no such thing and they couldn’t do it for us before we left. Ended up having the safari hotel do it for us for quite a large cost that we weren’t expecting. We returned to the same hotel for the remainder of our stay and when checkinf in, were told that breakfast was not included even though my reservations clearly showed it. I brought up my reservations in my room and called down to desk. Was told they would check on it and would call back. No call back. Next morning I showed the front desk but the guy disapperead and said he had to check. Our ride was there and so we had to leave. Finally that evening we stopped by the desk and they said oh yes breakfast is included. There was obviously some miscommunication at the front desk."

"Check in - super quick and easy. Staff are SUPER friendly and accommodating. Room - decent size but the shower is in the bedroom, separated by only a curtain. It’s a bit awkward. Toilet has its own room with a door. Decor and styling were stylish and flight themed. Hotel - has a great restaurant and bar, showing sports in the evening. Airport shuttle was free and easy to find and hop on. No reservation needed."

"Dining room staff were not good at taking an order for an evening meal and following up that the meal had been delivered to the table. The vegetables and fries were cool indicating that perhaps the meal was waiting around. There were not many smiles either. Conversely the reception staff were excellent. they helped with changing the room to a twin and to help organise a tour for the following morning. They also had lovely smiles as did the breakfast staff. Excellent omelette."

"The hotel was great except for the room design. I traveled with one other person and had a room with one king bed. The trouble is that there was no privacy for the shower area (door opens directly into main area), and there are mirrors everywhere. If you want privacy from traveling companions in the shower / toilet area, you might want to research the room designs more carefully when making your reservation. Also, our room was close to the elevators, which we heard chiming throughout the night. So ask for a room away from the elevators if you’re sensitive to noise. Pros: After a safari trip, we were grateful for the shoe cleaning station in the main lobby. Breakfast buffet was nice. We appreciated the coffee machine in the hallway. We also appreciated that we could easily and safely walk to Mandela Square (food, shopping)."
