"Good location in the middle of Westminster/huntington beach. Amenities such as the air conditioning and bathrooms were outdated. The mattresses could also use updating. No fridges in “basic” rooms which was surprising for the cost of the hotel. Even motel 6 has a fridge. "

"By far the best value lodging in Westminster / HB area. SUPER CLEAN and the staff are meticulous. AC works great, parking is fine. I have stayed regularly during the last 2 years after trying out a lot of other places within 2-3 mile radius. Rooms have good tv's, microwave and fridge. If I owned a hotel I would want this team to run it. Very professional. Ignore the many filthy Motel 6 properties nearby. You'll be happy that you chose Hotel 39. "

"The person that checked us in was wonderful however, the room smelled musty, and there was mold in the caulk, and water damage on the bathroom door, and the bed was not comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable."

"Stayed in Room 116 it smelled horrible of urine! toilet was dirty on the back and wrappers under bed."

"Only stayed from 8pm-8am but overall satisfied. Staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. Room was spacious, clean, great amenities, and the bed was generally comfortable. I find most hotels in this price range don't replace their mattresses often so there are well-formed concave dents from previous sleepers. Also a kind of slope, you know, where your feet are at a higher level than your head? The only deduction would be that it seemed someone had shaved their head recently in the bathtub and/or bathroom sink. There was short stubble sprinkled around but I was too tired to care. The tub stopper was closed and the faucet was dripping so the amount of water that filled the tub quantified that the previous guest left only an hour ago."
