"Nazal (or Nazar) was incredibly rude, even though I was as polite as possible. I simply asked for a towel and was completely willing to pay for it. The way I was treated made me feel really uncomfortable. I understand that working at the front desk can be stressful (I work in front desk management myself) but there’s no reason to treat guests this way, especially when they’re only asking for something as basic as a towel. People come here to enjoy their few days off, and interactions like this...

"One of the finest Hotels I’ve stayed in. Conveniently attached to the Airport with all amenities a short walk away! Spacious rooms with extremely comfortable beds and wonderful food. I’ll be staying there again in my next visit! Highly recommend!"

"Excellent hotel, rooms nice size with everything you need,spotless and super comfybed , breakfast was amazing lots to choose from and delicious pastries, nicely priced drinks at the bar and the staff were so friendly and helpful and situated in a good area short walk to docks,reeperbahn and city centre"

"A beautiful property that maintains its art deco architecture with modernity. Friendly, helpful check in staff. Excellent breakfast buffet each morning. A large property, so arrive early for brekky. Also, lobby stays very busy with the bar & cafe. Room was spacious & comfortable. Nespresso machine. Bottled water. Closet space. Nice bathroom with tub. (For the level of hotel, a mini fridge would be nice.) Convenient location across the street from Hbf station. However, a bit of a grotty area/neighbourhood, especially behind the hotel. Watch out for certain streets, particularly at night. Nocturnal “activities” abound."

"The staffs greeted us warmly and checked in was very efficient. Hotel location was excellent right across the streets from the central station. We recommend to travelers that needed to get an earlier train like us. Our room was a bit on the small side, yet its location suited us. We gave 4 stars was because it didn’t have AC even though we understood it would be hard to install in a historical building, yet global warming as result of extreme warm temperatures in Europe, travelers could be difficult to sleep especially from the noises of the train station if the windows were opened. Over all, the room was comfortable and staffs were really nice and we went exploring the areas with public transportation FREE, a gift from the hotel to its guests a few steps from the hotel. It was a nice touch."

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay and were pleased with the hotel, reception staff, and housekeeping team. It is conveniently located to a lot of restaurants and attractions. The main challenge was that reception was only available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which made it difficult to get assistance outside those hours. During our stay on separate days, the microwave in our room beeped throughout the night, we needed help with the washer/dryer, and there were not enough towels provided for the four guests in our room. Unfortunately, there was no one available to contact for assistance after reception had closed. Families, especially those traveling with young children, may find this lack of after-hours support challenging. Aside from these inconveniences, the hotel was pleasant, and we had an enjoyable stay overall."

"This is a very nice hotel located in a promenade area. Lots of tourists and other pedestrians the moment you set foot outside the hotel, but also good shopping and restaurants right out side the hotel. The concierge was terrific. The hotel has an odd configuration that we did not love; you have to take an elevator up from the street level to reception and then a different elevator up to the rooms. Lots of elevators to get in and out of the hotel. Our room had an interior view only which felt claustrophobic. I would definitely recommend that you request an exterior view room."
