"Our stay at Quinta da Estrada was simply wonderful. The vineyard property is gorgeous and the room was fabulous. We had the Loft - with an amazing outdoor patio offering panoramic views of the Quinta and surrounding landscape. We had dinner in their restaurant both nights, including the wine tasting dinner. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The perfect place to stay for our first trip to the Douro Valley."

The room was very clean and well equipped, nothing was too much trouble and we were very well looked after. Breakfast was lovely including home made jams, marmalade and fresh bread. The food in general was amazing, we had dinner on our first evening and then the dinner and wine tasting on the second night. Luis the owner did the wine tasting and he was very informative and a proud wine producer from the Douro Valley. All the staff were amazing and looked after us really well. We were all made to...

We loved our stay at Quinta da Moita. The property looks pristine, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!

Casa das Lérias is a stunning boutique hotel that seamlessly blends modern design with beautiful views of the Tâmega River, featuring an exceptional staff, a relaxing pool area, and a prime location for exploring the region. While the morning buffet offers a fresh and delicious selection of high-quality local items, the setup can be confusing at times because plates are not visually available or laid out on the counters, occasionally causing minor delays. Despite this slight morning bottleneck,...
