"The rooms haven't really been updated since the hotel first opened. The windows barely work as double glazed anymore, letting in the cold and noise. I wouldn't like to stay here in winter. I'm sorry, but just putting a heavy curtain in front is not enough. I love the place for it's location and many memories but I'm having serious doubts about staying here again. The staff are lovely but under a lot of pressure. I didn't eat here but the bar was so empty I wouldn't bother. Lots of promotion about the Leonardo loyalty scheme claiming that you get cheaper rates by joining, every time I tried this Hotels.com came in cheaper, so compare before you book (if you really have to)"
