"I can't speak highly enough of thi s hotel and bar. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the decor and comfort are excellent. We stayed in a family room, which is ,in fact, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. One room has a double bed, the other 2 singles. TV in both.Everything you could need is provided, and the bathroom is fabulous. Continental breakfast included too.

"Another excellent stay at The Leicester, from the moment you walk through the door you are greeted by Cliff, very friendly & welcoming.
I stayed in room 10, a large lovely room, bed is a superior king-size & so comfy, the best bed I have ever slept in. This is now the second time I have stayed here & will definitely be back. Breakfast is really good, lots of choice, full English yesterday & freshly made pancakes with banana, blueberries & strawberries drizzled with maple syrup, delicious."

"Nice and clean, everything you needed including a fan (it was very hot) shampoo and conditioner were really good. Most hotel shampoo’s make my hair dry. The ones provided didn’t do that. "
"A very nice hotel. Stayed for 1 night in August. Friendly staff, good service. Hotel came with free continental breakfast which supplied an array of choices. Room clean with tea and coffee facilities. All in all a very pleasant stay."

Look, it’s a very old hotel, so maintenance is needed constantly. Creaking floor boards and dated corridors. That comes with the territory.
My room was superb, clean and bright. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast (12.50) if a walk in. Piping hot, good selection, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, nice and quiet, very helpful reception staff."
"We absolutely love this hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds really comfortable. It could do with an update and refurb in certain areas but this doesn't affect the quality of the stay. The staff are very friendly and happy to help in any way they can. It's location is perfect as it's close to South pier, a tram stop, shops and the pleasure beach. We will be making further bookings in the future."
"We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service.

"We did not stay at this hotel as when we went to check in the hotel advised that they were double booked and they had arranged an alternative hotel.
When we got to the alternative hotel the rooms were not ready and it was 7.45pm before we finally got into our room.
