"Fun pools. My kids loved the little pool with the slide. The rooms are big but a little outdated. Staff was overall good. The main issue is the food. It is terrible and we ate out sometimes to avoid the food. No poolside snacks which is hard with little kids/ it’s nice to sit on your lounge chair and be able to order food. The pool drinks were good and the bartenders were really nice. We had a nice time but the food is a major issue."

"AC did not work but the fan worked. Some of the furniture was worn or broken. But overall, for Mexico, and especially Yelapa where there are limited amenities, it was fairly good. The staff were helpful, especially Ismar, who spoke some English. As my Spanish is poor I was grateful for that!"

"Casa Maria is the perfect place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. It is walkable from the restaurants, cafes and the beach. You will never run out of options because it is centrally located. The staff were all kind and amazing and helpful. They maintained the cleanliness all throughout our stay there. At night, it was so quiet and serene we didn't have a hard time sleeping.
