Dead birds in the sviming pool and blocked toilets. The guy working the nighshift puts a 300baht markup on everything from Taxis to hotelrooms.

Uns hat grundsätzlich dieses Hotel gefallen. Das angebotene Essen war gut, das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Die Ausstattungen im Zimmee war azch gut. Jedoch haben wir zwei punkte zu bemängeln. Das WLAN war nicht gut, wir mussten ständig neu anmelden und die Verbindung war nicht gut. Wir hatten einen whirlpool, als wir dieses benützen wollten merkten wir, dass das wasser nicht sauber war. Vietimme neljä viimeistä yötä tässä hotellissa Kamalassa. Perustason huone. Siisteys tyydyttävällä tasolla. Kuvat antaa paremman kuvan todellisuudesta. Respan kielitaito kyseenalainen. Viimeisenä päivää tilasimme taksin respasta seuraavaksi aamuksi lentokentälle. No taksia ei näkynyt aamulla ja respan heppu nukkui thaimaalaiseen tapaan. Pienten selvittelyjen ja respan nukahdettua uudelleen. Loppujen lopuksi respan heppu onnistui tilata meille uuden taksin. Ja kerkesimme lennolle täpärästi.

Inte 4-stjärnigt!

Hotellet ligger inte där det är utmärkt på kartan, utan ca 1 km söderut och precis vid stora genomfartsvägen. När vi påtalade detta för personalen sa de att de var medvetna om detta. Som kompensation erbjöds vi en flaska vin eller att få checka ut en dag tidigare. Knaper frukost med kalla stekta ägg. Smutsigt på matsalsgolvet. Tvätten som vi lämnade in på normal tvättid ville de ha betalt för expresstvätt samt att de slarvade bort två stycken linneskjortor som vi ej fått tillbaks. Definitivt inte 4-stärnigt hotell.

I was very dissapointed. Firstly the location of the hotel is not the location which appears on the Expedia app. The WIFI did not work in the room, on rare occasions I got a short minute or two of WIFI connection. The Aircon unit was loud and did not function well. The tap leaked on the bathroom sink. The walls and doors are light and noise penetrated through them so it was very noisy. I had booked 8 nights but only stayed 2 because I could not relax and enjoy and the staff did not compensate me in any way so I lost a lot of money.

Great place to stay in Kamala. Good rooms, nice pool area and restaurant. Kind staff. No noise from the main Road. Close to the market and big C. Ok distance to the beach.

The property is excellent. It has a very modern design, restaurant and bar at the front of the hotel. It is very inviting, well lit. It is not a sports bar, the music is suitable, and is very quiet. Excellent for families or couples, or singles who want a relaxing get away. The staff are very caring and friendly. They always have a genuine smile! They make every effort to help things run smoothly and explain the location well. (There are local businesses such as hairdressers, opticians, clothing stores and supermarket). The hotel room was spotless. It was cleaned and freshened every day. A lot of space, again, excellent decor and lighting. I recommend a sun rise and sun set swim in the pool. The sky views are amazing! The breakfasts are beautifully cooked, lots of variety and can cater to different needs. The evening meals were fresh, delicate tastes and filling.

Ankom sent aften og havde bestilt et værelse uden vinduer og valgte at opgradere til et med balkon og vinduer mod ekstra betaling. Dette værelse havde en defekt vandhane på toilettet og der var vand ud over hele gulvet. Vi blev bedt om at flytte værelse. 2 nat på værelse var der strøm svigt og havde ikke aircondition hele natten og fik ik sovet da der også var larm ds de skulle rette fejlen. Vi var på sejl tur hele dagen i regnvejr og blev lovet det hele virkede da vi kom hjem. Men intet blev fikset. Den nye i receptionen forstod ik engelsk. Vi krævede en opgradering af værelset med badekar så vi kunne få et varmt bad efter en kold dag. Vi fik et rigtig lækker værelse hvor der så ik er varmt vand og aircondition virkede ik ordentligt. Maden var okay. Personale var venlige. Sikkert en ret uheldig oplevelse med strømsvigt men gav sammenlagt en træls uge men 3 gange pakken sammen og ud igen

Les photos n'ont rien à voir avec la réalité dans ma réservation j'ai une chambre supérieure à la fin j'ai une chambre supérieure pour une prison ( aucune fenêtre dans la chambre juste un moteur de climatisation caché dans un placards ) ces super cool après 17h d'avion.. et on me réclame 400bat pour une chambre avec une fenêtre ( quel blague )

Breakfast has massivelly improved since 2016

Had stayed here before, so no major surprises. The main thumbs up goes for switching from buffet breakfast to cooked to order, which was great for Thailand. Sad they seem not to have fresh supply from bakery daily, so we got croisant and sweet pastry day1, only sweet day2 and nothing day3, but that's besides eggs/rice/noodle main dish, therefore if that's to complain about, means rest is none of issue. Some rooms are more worn out, we asked to change room due to poor and loud airCon (room 220 has bad one) and got same room as 3 years ago (318) and then it felt like at home again. So hotel is not brand new anymore, but it's not 100 years old either, and there are some great rooms still there. Although it's on main street, you get none of the noise, so don't be scared by that. All in all - were happy to be back in here.

strtaed with that the location point on the website wa totally wrong, instead of being close to the beach hotel is located at main street. Pool condition not nice, roof top feel left unattended for a long time. However staff is very helpful. Value for money not really good.

Hôtel situé dans le centre de la ville près du marché big C à 5 minutes de la plage. Indiquer comme un 4 étoiles mais je dirais plus un 3 étoiles. Belle piscine infinity au dernier étage avec vu sur la ville et les montagnes. Bon déjeuner à la carte et aussi déjeuner buffet. Produits offerts dans la salle de bain limités.

Slitet hotell. Bodde där 4 nätter men tvingades flytta runt i hotellet och bo i olika rum av någon anledning. Dålig service och de försökte ta betalt för allt. Ligger nära en stor väg och ljudet från bilar/mopeder gör det svårt att sova om man får rum på den sidan av hotellet. OK avstånd till stranden och hyfsad pool på taket. Frukost ingen höjdare. Kommer inte bo där igen om jag besöker staden.

The hotel is on the road to the beach walk 10 minutes, the staff was helpful when checking in only after 14 hours I came at 11 am although the hotel was half empty waiting three hours

Smrad zo zachodov pri vytahoch pri recepcii je otrasny. Na izbe citit tiez smrad z odtokov. To je ale asi vsade v Thajsku pri takychto hoteloch. Ranajky taky priemer. Neporiadok aj pri bazene na streche hotela. Na fotkach to vyzeralo lepsie

The hotel was at a good standard but the room didn’t have a window which made it dark and depressing. Will not stay here again and will not recommend. The pool area was deserted and messy, the rooftop pool could be made to look better with little things like fairy lights!
