Отель оправдал ожидания. Номер очень хороший, чисто, большой, балкон, хорошее расположение, отель 650 метров от Banglaroad, Jungceylon тоже недалеко. Завтрак пусть и не сильно разнообразный, но есть все, что нужно. Вкусный кофе! Персонал мог бы соответствовать стране улыбок, какие-то вечно хмурые на ресепшн сидели

Hotel for few nights stay

Hotel was okay for few nights stand, it's close to the shopping center and few minutes from the Bangla road and beach, so it was a good location. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel stuff were not so friendly or welcoming. Swimming pool area needs an update, there was only three sunbeds, one of them broken and no umbrellas. Hotel breakfast was very simple, so do not expect much from that.

室内だけでなく外観や共用部分も清潔感ありました。水回りも清掃行き届いているのですが、とても残念なのは、水道の水が汚いことです。グラスに溜めると普通に茶褐色に濁っていました。毎日2本ペットボトルウォーターが置かれるので歯磨き・うがいに利用しました。

The only good thing about the Phoenix Grand is that the room was spacious and had a great view. The let down was the neglected common areas. The place felt Like a backpackers hostel. Doors were slammed through the night and on many occasions people were screaming in the common areas in the early hours of the morning. I had the buffet breakfast twice in 13 days as they did not have much variety. There are other places down the road serving better breakfast for similar price. This could be a great hotel if it was better maintained which would hence attract a better clientele. I cannot fault the position as it is literally around the corner from the Banzaan Market, Jungceylon shopping centre and only a short stroll to Bangla Road and Patong beach.

Good location but bad policy

Good location, not too close to the Bangla Road so it is not noisy but not too far from the beach (about 15 min walk). The only complain is that they have the policy that if you damage or lost towels you have to pay but the problem is that when the clean the room they took out 2 towels and only replace 1 and when we call front desk to complain they said that we lost the towel and want us to pay. We have to spend time to explain to them and finally they did not charge but we have to count the towels every single day to make sure they replace the same number of towels they took. Another problem is that they provide only 1 key and you need that key in the slot for electricity to work and it is very inconvenient if one person want to go out and one person want to stay in the room. We ask for additional key and they said it will cost 500 baht (about $18 dollar with is almost the same price of 1 night) so it is ridiculous. Also, it is very easy to forget the key in the room when you walk out and the door automatically slam shut.

In the first place, the reception staff failed to find our booking ref, and he misundersatandingly charge us 1000phb for the walk-in booking fee. Second, in the second day, the water system was failed and there were no water supply for the whole building after we experienced a one day tour which we were very dirty, and this situation last until we check out. The whole experience in this hotel was terrible, and there are a lot mouse nearby.

It was just super super super basic, the design of the bathroom was not very thoughtful. The aircon is the worse as it can be roaring through either at nights or day time. Front desk staffs attitude was just so so. So will not really recommend this hotel to people At All.

It's very comfy place to stay close to everything in the heart of patong the swimming pool has awesome views in general I'm happy with the place and my next visit I'm going to stay there again .
