"I bookeed two nights, 3/3 - 3/4/26 for a surgical appointment in Lakeland. I paid extra for the Personal Protection Plan assuming I would be able to cancel if something came up. My surgery was pushed back a week, and I tried to cancel or reschedule for another time. I went on the hotels.com site and corresponded with an AI since I couldn't get a hold of a person. "It" said that it was non-refundable and non rebookable. What did I pay for then on the Personal Protection Plan ?? I should get a full refund or two nights free. Neither were not helpful or accommodating. Wouldn’t use Hortels.com or Comfort Inn in the future. "

"No ice, clogged toilet, cigarette butts, no trash can, floor was filthy, no internet or tv, and trash everywhere. And, sketchy stuff going on. "

"We stayed here for the convenience of location to Legoland. Our room was the Adventure room. It was at the very end of the hallway and looked like it hadn't been used in awhile. The shelves were dusty and the bathtub even had dust in it. The room was pretty dark. The bed was relatively comfortable. It is an older hotel that could use a refresh. The disco elevator was fun for the kids. Breakfast was good but the floor around the tables was very dirty. We left an item behind and were very pleased when it was found and returned to us (for a hefty price) but we were very happy to get it back. Very difficult to contact this property by phone. Communication online or via text is strongly encouraged/preferred by the property."

"I don’t even know where to start!!! When you pull up you think what a pretty hotel, you walk in the front door the smell from the air fresheners are way too strong you can’t stay in lobby long- We were greeted by a wonderful and I would say the most professional & kind receptionist her name is Kayla (the rest were horrible)! We got up to our room and it looked clean. We unpacked and settled in for the night. I was on my bed and my husband looked over and saw a bug crawling on the sheet. I got it although it was tiny and took a picture of it to find in horror that it was a BED BUG!! I got eaten up all over my body I have the pics to prove it. I immediately went down to Kayla and showed her the bug and it was confirmed to be BED BUGS!!!! With that said we wanted to leave hotel and I wanted to be reimbursed for that night bc of this nasty incident. The owner could not be reached (he didn’t answer the phone) Kayla said she emailed him and he said he’d be in on Sunday so bc Kayla was so kind and understanding we decided to switch floors and try another room. Last night we were told by Ray ( maintenance /housekeeping boss) who was also very kind that the owner would be in on Monday morning from 6a- 2p. When I woke up this morning I was told that he was in at 6a.m and left by 6:30 a.m- the kid at the front desk Andrew I think his name was-very rude. Instead of taking responsibility he Ran like a COWARD! I will be in touch with my attorney-PLENTY of other hotels to stay at!!"

"The hotel is in good condition but a little dated compared to others in the area. Staff was nice and very knowledgeable about all things. The breakfast area was tiny with only 5 tables available. Also there was only one elevator and i would say the bedroom and corridor rugs need to be updated as well. "
