"The check in was a terrible experience. The staff at the desk were abrupt and not friendly. They didn’t explain anything to us. The bathrooms had no amenities available, the clock did not work, the room was very dusty. The concierge messed up our reservations to the Italian restaurant and blamed us for the mix up. The concierge cancelled one of the reservations without notifying us and the hostess refused to honor our reservation. The manager and the hostess demanded us to provide the slip as proof. The restaurant wasn’t even full and made us wait for 30 minutes before telling us it was their fault or accommodating us to the table."

"Back door to the pool area was jammed, they didn’t have the wet clothes hangline in the bathroom like the sign said it had. The refrigerator didn’t work. The water pressure was low. There was no microwave either so we just didn’t worry about the broken fridge to save food in . It was useless since we could not reheat. No view of the ocean anywhere in hotel. You had to walk 20 min to public beach or go through Atlantis everytime to use their beach. Overall to lay your head at night and have breakfast and WiFi plus access to Atlantis was the only beneficial part of the stay. We only went to Atlantis once and did excursions. So I would stay at a different hotel if I was to come back."

"It was a great place to stay. Some of the outdoor staff was not very friendly but overall everyone was. I would stay here again. I've always wanted to stay at a RIU resort and overall satisfied."
The Reef at Atlantis

"Great trip with a 3 and 4 year old. We had groceries delivered to the room from food2go so we were able to cook dinner for our picky kids before heading to the restaurants. Room was much larger than expected in the reef with full kitchen."
The Royal at Atlantis

"Staff were very rude. I was over charged on multiple occasions, for fitness classes that the website clearly stated were complimentary. The food was horrible and overpriced."
The Coral at Atlantis

"This is our second trip to Atlantis. We have stayed in the coral each time. We choose to stay at this property given most of the amenities are here such as restaurants, theater, near the marina village so there are additional options for food/coffee. The grounds are very well maintained. The rooms in the coral which we stayed in were outdated and could use an upgrade; however, we spend very little time in the room so this was a non issue for us. They were still clean. The staff is helpful. Would visit again and likely stay in the same tower."
