"Lovely building and very close to town centre, all the staff are lovely - friendly and helpful. Our room was ok but not as clean as it should have been, only 1 set of towels on arrival, shower gel was empty. All got resolved though as soon as I requested. We hung up our towels to re-use but they were changed each day. Free bottled water provided each day and good tea and coffee set up. Bed was comfortable. "Beautiful place in a lovely part of the world. Lakes and ponds with gardens. On-site spa with its own peace gardens with loungers (and waterfall!). The spa is worth a visit alone. Nice room, nice catering (we were at a wedding held onsite). Room had great air on/heating and good brew facilities. The shower and bath was epic for the price we paid. Will absolutely return. Only downside was checking in. I was not acknowledged, so began checking myself in electronically- then I was acknowledged...

"Rooms clean, gym had everything for a usual gym goer, food was really good, but pricy but you get what you pay for. Staff were polite, weren’t always present at the bar or on reception but when they were there they really friendly. Rooms weren’t very soundproof but didn’t matter too much. Jacuzzi was really nice. "The swimming pool is out of order at the moment. was not notified of this when booking only a couple of days before I arrived. I was allocated room 56. Make sure you don’t get this room unless there is a heatwave. It was so cold that I had to ask to be moved during the night. The radiator does not appear to work in the room.
