"My girlfriend and I had a great 3-day stat at the Principe hotel in Feb 2026 for a phenomenal price. The hotel was very nice, quite and clean with large rooms. We actually got moved right away to a far larger room (for no charge) because the A/C in our first room was not working properly. The staff could not have been nicer. The location of the property in the nice and safe Congrejo neighborhood was great, with plenty of good restaurants steps away. In truth, the Principe was one of the best stays/deal I have ever had in my travels. "

"It’s pretty basic. It was fine clean. Staff was ok. I contacted them in advance to check about early checking, as my flight was arriving early, and I had some work meetings. They said it would be charged, which I agreed upon. But when I showed it up at the hotel, they said no."

"Lots of walking distance shops nearby. Very nice pool and bar areas with very accommodating staff.The doors to the rooms are very loud when closing almost like it’s being slammed, can be jarring when your in your room and your neighbors don’t close the door gently. I was able to get my room changed but the walls are very thin you can hear conversations next door as well as music playing, a machine humming noise coming from the vent system as well . I cut my trip short because of being uncomfortable in the room when trying to relax . I am still trying to see if I could get reimbursed for the days unused with no success so far. "

"Shops like malls were nearby and food places. The hotel overall is nice, but it seemed as if they rushed to prepare my room and certain things seemed not so clean. I also did not really enjoy the food there"
