Mayflower Park Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent location. We rode the Link train from the airport which landed us close to the Mayflower. With no car, we were able to walk to Pike Market and the monorail (just around the corner) to the Space Needle, Chihuly glass museum, and Museum of Modern Culture. Our room was spacious and (as a huge perk) - had two bathrooms! We did not eat at the restaurant, but the offerings looked varied. Definitely will be staying again."

"OK, the rooftop to look out from was awesome but the rest of the day was horrible. Could not get into our room every time we left the keys did not work went downstairs to get them reset and it did it again and again over and over also they did not have no breakfast nothing to drink to buy a drink and everywhere that they stated on their list for places to go eat and drink we’re no longer there so I had to walk across the street to the store to just to get something to drink and their coffee was horrible"

"Some of the check-in staff were really knowledgeable and helpful. Others were not. I experienced both ends of the spectrum on this. Eduardo at the front desk was very sweet and welcoming and helpful! The person who checked me in (can't remember her name sadly) and checked me out... was not. She didn't explain or go over any of the standard hotel items with me. Eg. She asked for my credit card at check in and asked specifically "Is this just for incidentals/ a hold on my card?" she said yes, and I believed her. Had she mentioned the "Destination Fee" and etc would have been charged on this same card, I would have charged a different credit card. I also felt she just wasn't happy to be at her job. It wasn't a welcoming feeling. Our room had a beautiful view and the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a very tight fit. Our room had an adjoining door to the room next to us and our neighbours were VERY early risers (5am wake up) and we could hear them LOUD and CLEAR in the mornings and they weren't yelling or speaking all that loudly. Between them and the News they watched every morning, I did not have a restful sleep/stay."
