"We had a lovely family room which was very spacious and beautiful, overlooking the garden. The bathroom had a welcomed walk-in shower. The staff was friendly and professional. Pleasant evening-turn downs with a room refresh given. Villa Lara is 1 minute walk from the Tours pick-up, the Cathedral, shops and great restaurants. Highly recommended. "

"We had a very enjoyable stay, spent a lot of the time at the pool which was heated and in a nice location. Room was large considering it was a standard. Staff friendly, clean hotel, lots of parking, short drive to town, nice location and surroundings.

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Le Lion d'Or. The location couldn't be better—an easy walk to shops, restaurants, bars, historical sites, and even a grocery store. The hotel itself was quiet, clean, and very comfortable, with a warm atmosphere clearly geared toward an American clientele.

"The Victoria B&B is an outstanding property located close to the D-Day memorial. Our room was immaculate, very quiet, and had a view of the garden. The breakfast was excellent. "This was our base during our visit to Normandy. Located in a central location to restaurants and shopping, it was a lovely historic hotel. There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan - which was great. Staff was courteous and helped with all our questions. Taxis are readily available to get to the train station. Will stay there again should we ever find ourselves in Bayeux. Exactly as described. "
