We loved this quaint hotel’s location and staff. Not to mention the good value.
This is a wonderful fishing village and the best place to stay if you’re visiting Omaha Beach.
Séjour affaire très agréable
Hôtel idealement situé sur le port, parking en proximité, restaurant qualitatif et accueil très pro et efficace du personnel
I picked this hotel because it was on the water. room 205 faces the alley not the water. there is no lift. They did help us with our bags to the third floor. No ac, so i opened the window to listen to the noise on the street till 11.
Lovely hotel in a great location. The downside: the location is very popular and therefore very noisy, including late at night. Because the hotel doesn't have and doesn't usually need air conditioning, I kept my windows open. And that meant it was impossible to fall asleep until the last of the bar patrons went home...and the neighborhood children stopped lighting firecrackers -- I'm not kidding -- on the nearby pier.
Personnel pas très compétent.Petit déjeuner trop cher :pain congelé, et attente trop longue pour ravoir du pain le temps de le décongeler et le chauffer
***Caution***when I booked this hotel I looked at the pictures for another hotel 20 min away with the same name that is right next to the D-Day museum. This one is not! This is a small fishing town with a fish market. Terribly confusing and felt like a bait and switch.
Hotel room does not have AC so you need to open the windows. The staff is very friendly, no issues there. The room had a strong musty/mildew smell that would only go away if you opened the windows. However, if you leave open bugs come in. The shower had mold on the walls. There are no elevators so if you have accessibility issues, be sure you can climb stairs.
I rated 4 stars because stand alone it was fine. Nothing overly great, nothing horrible. Just a lot of little things that addd up to not what we were wanting and disappointed about not staying at the other hotel.
