"Hotel was so hot boiling hot temperature eating area including all Bedroom Rooms requested fan for cooling down in the room but that still didint help Then we was kept up all night from 1230 am through till 4.30am we had noises like pipes rumbling and pipes being filled including loud filling noises and smell above in room. Contacted reception and all they said was please contact duty manager in the morning. "

"The room was slightly stuffy and couldn’t change the air con settings very easily. Other than that everything was spotless, the staff were helpful the lady who booked us in was great and ordered me a taxi for a specified time. A very pleasant stay."

"The food and drinks are excellent especially the breakfasts. Unfortunately the rooms are being refurbished over time and ours was particularly tired with a part of the window structure missing. Overall the hotel is in an ideal place for a stay in Norwich and I would use it again!"

"The spa was inviting and the staff very good. Made to feel comfortable and the treatment was great. The pool area was okay and while we did enjoy it we just feel it lacked an intimate atmosphere as was a gym club. Definitely could have done with either drinks service for guests or a bar. However we enjoyed our stay and would go again "

"At the price I paid for this I honestly wasn't expecting much but my friend and I had 2 rooms (front ground floor) and they were both excellent, clean and comfortable and I honestly could not fault them. I was worried that because of the rooms position it would be noisy, but no I had a great nights sleep. Position size its about10 mins walk from Carrow Road there is a good pub just across the road and also a cafe. The hotel has its own bar and provides breakfast but I didn't get the chance to use either but the bar looked ok and going on my experience of the staff I met I'm sure the breakfasts will be good. Parking:- there is no car park but street parking is free after 4pm till I think 9am. However if you need to park outside these times the hotel provided a parking permit for £5."

"I am afraid the experience was like 30 years ago. The rooms are clean but very dated. New bathroom though. Biggest issue was heating. We arrived at 3pm to a cold room. They had to change the heating timer for the whole hotel to warm our room … or so we were told. Later at 8-9 in the evening when we returned to our room the heating was already off again and the shower was Luke warm. The following morning was fine though. "
