"Lovely little place to stay in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room spotless."

"The Waterwheel Inn was exceptional. We had a garden suite which opened straight out onto the amazing gardens and a small double room. Both were decorated nicely and kept clean. Breakfast was served in the lovely conservatory and was excellent with good choices and nice touches like home-made jams and granola. We ate in the restaurant for dinner several times and had great food every time. Staff were helpful whilst being unobtrusive. Our only suggestion is to advertise the vegan options better as...

"No AC on this very warm summer stay, but otherwise wonderful. Great beach but not a long beach for walking. Great access to coastal path. Having pub right there was lovely."

"Staff were amazing, great location. Food/ breakfast was outstanding Stayed in the signature room, very comfortable."

"The rooms were very clean. The bed was very hard so if you like a soft bed this won’t do. The breakfast on both mornings were very poor burnt toast served with over cooked bacon. On the first morning hash browns left off the order. Ordered poached eggs on toast given one egg on a piece of toast nothing along side it to dress the plate very sad looking. Second morning breakfast sausage looked very undercooked, bacon well done and once again toast burnt. Really sad as every time in the past the...

"Location is superb right by harbor.. lots of narrow small stairs to our room on 3rd floor in roof. Room was airless even with windows open… breakfast was great however supervisor was pretty unfriendly and basically kicked us out right at 10am… don’t expect any frills…"

"Huge room, clean and well maintained. Amazing view over the harbor. Restaurant is pretty decent. Staff was very friendly and helpful"

"Great room above a lovely pub. Comfortable bed and good shower. The pub had a wide menu and the food was very good. Also a good choice of ales. 5 minute walk to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary. Large car park. Friendly and helpful staff."
