"On an island with giant all-inclusive mega-resorts, British Colonial was a wonderful throwback hotel. It was clean and quiet with an understated elegance, and easily walkable to downtown and a number of restaurants. Staff was helpful and friendly, without being intrusive. Hotel has a nice private beach and pool area. It is located near the port, so you can see the cruise ships sail in and out of the harbor, a rather impressive sight."

"My stay at this hotel was phenomenal! I checked in and manager Clyde was very welcoming and provided a drink as soon as we arrived. I stayed in the Bahamas for 6-7 nights and enjoyed my stay as I felt safe and this hotel is in the middle of many attractions. The hotel provided quick taxis when needed and have great amenities like a pool, quick elevator access, and a big lobby to hang around and eat. Everyone at the hotel was really kind and helpful when something was needed. I enjoyed my stay...

"Not the standard we know of Holiday Inn. Rooms are soo small, bed is a Double bed for 2 people. The first room we were given had a broken bed, I had to complain before I was moved to another room. Complimentary breakfast was nice though. Totally not worth the expensive amount I paid. Positive side is that its in downtown and Junkanoo beach is right across the street."

"The pools and beaches were beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the trip. We especially enjoyed the fountain water shows at the front of the resort, which were fun and entertaining for the whole family. The restaurants were decent overall, though service was slower than expected and food wait times were quite long. One area that could use improvement is staff awareness and training regarding food allergies, as we did not feel fully confident with the handling of our daughter’s...

"Access to Atlantis was a huge perk for us and close proximity to the marina village. We had lots of issues with the water in our room. From very little water pressure to no water at all. Often was ice cold as well. The toilet was finicky to flush towards the end of our stay. Very noisy hallways"

"Bad area to stay the night as a tourist it is not close to any of the resorts or tourist attractions I ended up leaving didn’t even spend the night the whole week I was there I had to buy a hotel room close to the beach"

"Beautiful property with a long narrow drive up the hill. The view is stunning. Would recommend to rent a car to get to the beach and restaraunts. The bedding and matress was a disappointment. Fitted sheet didnt fit right and stained mattress was not a good discovery Overall it was ok"
