"Clean and peaceful"

"First time staying at The Market House and very impressed. Staff friendly on arrival, room spacious and clean. The only slightly negative thing for me was that the room did not have a window which is my preference. I would stay here again. "

"It's conveniently located with plenty of affordable dining options and markets nearby. It's a nice 30-minute stroll to the city center or to the Thames River. The 2 bedroom place itself was nicely remodeled. The city could do a better job maintaining the sidewalks."

"Wonderful hotel! The Staff is very friendly and helpful, they make you feel at home and very Welcome. The lobby and lounge areas are super well design and the Gym is wonderful all good quality equipment! Internet works good as a digital nomad. Rooms are very spacious and bed is nice and big. And Super Important they are Pet friendly!! So I can stay with my little one no prob, they even give her treats and toys! Thanks for caring! My Top choice when Im in reading! Thanks you!...

"This is our go to hotel when travelling to Reading. Hotel is clean, staff friendly, excellent breakfast, pool, sauna. Its location is a short walk to the town centre and the Oracle shopping area and canal side restaurants. The train station is also a short walk to take you into London, Windsor, Oxford or any other places to visit "

"The hotel was slightly tired, but very clean and had everything we needed in the room. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Very recommendable "

"Lovely staff, a few problems with the room but the staff swiftly sorted that out. Also had a miscommunication about timing of breakfast which meant I then missed it, however the staff kindly got me some fruit and yoghurt. "

The kitchen was well equipped, extremely impressed, cooked meals and had everything I needed. "Room and bedding were spotlessly clean. Big TV, power shower and a balcony whilst being ones of the cheaper places in Reading. The exterior and location is a bit strange but there’s not much they can do about that and it doesn’t detract from its appeal. I’d definitely stay again. "
