"Everything superb, loved the room styling, newly refurbished feel, spotless clean. Top notch leisure facilities (could add poolside plant life and steam room scent maybe), gym full of new tech & choices with river view window. There was even a gym ball and mat in my club room. All staff helpful and prompt. I've stayed at other village hotels, this one was the best"

"Room was clean and tidy, plenty of space. Towels, toiletries are provided. The room also has a kettle, tea, coffee, and a smart TV which you can cast to. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is plenty of lounge space and activities on the ground floor. Lovely stay!"

"Friendly, efficient check-in. Arrived about 10pm, I think reception is 24-7. Fridge, kettle & desk in room all very helpful. Bit dated cosmetically but everything functional & clean. Overall excellent value. "

"Room and bedding were spotlessly clean. Big TV, power shower and a balcony whilst being ones of the cheaper places in Reading. The exterior and location is a bit strange but there’s not much they can do about that and it doesn’t detract from its appeal. I’d definitely stay again. "

"The hotel is definetely a bit shabby and down-at-heel, but it is clean and the staff friendly. Although it was a shared bathroom this was not a problem. The shower was surprisingly strong and as hot as i needed. The room was small but the matress on the bed was very comfortable. If you're happy with cheap but clean then I'd recommend it. I'd stay again"
