"The castle resort was perfect! Location is also amazing, with views of the actual seaside and the town. Perfect for couples, friends, and family! Uphill walking from the town or seaside could be challenging, but perfect for exercise and healthy living. There are taxis and buses available, but we chose to walk back and forth the town and seaside all the time because of the amazing views. "Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it! Another highlight is the hotel’s own soap products which smell amazing and are available to buy. Sadly they had run out...

"A beautiful place, delicious breakfast though items were missing like bowls, spoons, milk, beans, sausages. We thought about going to get the milk for them. Disappointingly the steam room was out of order. Sadly, they no longer serve dinner but do offer small plates. The staff are fab, though one very noisy waitress at breakfast bashes things as she clears up. There’s a fire to warm you on chilly evenings. Enjoyed the games on offer with our nightcap. "Bit of a mix up with the bill when checking out but sorted quickly by the night manager. Restaurant service was slow especially if busy, staff were great . Spa was good. Would definitely stay again"

"The room was okay, but it seems that they are refurbishing things so they are aware of the need to improve. The hot water for the basin was ideal for running a bath, but the bathtubs hot water probably has a TMV fitted so the hot water wasn’t fantastic. There was a minor problem, but the administration dealt with it promptly, so well done."
