"It works as a home base to explore Miami Beach. It is definitely an older hotel, but decent. The beach access is very good and this section was not very crowded and there is direct access to the beach boardwalk. You are allowed two beach chairs per room, you need to pay if you want more chairs. The pool is quiet, which was good for us. The breakfast buffet is standard hotel buffet. The staff did not seem friendly, particularly the front desk staff. The hotel seemed to be doing quite a bit of maintenance during peak spring break time where parts of the pool area were off limits at certain poibts due to paint drying. A CVS is close and convenient. "

"We love, love, love the 1 hotel in Miami. The facilities are immaculate, the staff are accommodating and friendly, we’ve always had a gorgeous room when we’ve been there. We had a very small issue with our showerhead- my husband reached out to the concierge and it was fixed immediately while we were at dinner. I had a great, very relaxing prenatal massage and enjoyed meals at all of the restaurants on the premises. If you’re in Miami and want to be on the beach in the lap of luxury, go to 1 hotel!"

"this is coming from someone who can get by with just about anything. the staff, horrible. i asked for a remote for my tv, and the guy said “i don’t have one, there’s nothing i can do for you” wouldn’t offer money back. the room was disgusting. luckily i only needed one day stay. slept on my clean clothes bc nothing was clean. th shower doesn’t even get relatively warm, its just cold. the location was fine. i would never recommend this to anyone, what a joke. super 6 is a luxury compared to this place. also you can’t control the AC, the hotel does, so it’s hot. our ceiling fan worked, but no lights also. too cheap to change a dang light bulb!? "
