"We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn. Lovely friendly staff. The best breakfast. The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend."

"We had a lovely room which had a roll top bath in a very big bathroom Staff were friendly and the pub was relaxing. Breakfast was good to set you up for the day It was in a remote area so in the evening there wasn’t anywhere to walk to and other pubs were of driving distance not walkable.."

"I originally booked my stay at the Rising Sun Inn because I was in the area to see Van Morrison. What I didn't expect was how much I'd enjoy everything else the hotel has to offer. The inn was comfortable, welcoming, and a great base for exploring the beautiful countryside. One of the highlights of my trip turned out to be the wonderful hiking opportunities right around the hotel. "The Bell is a beautiful old building and our room was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The view from the room was amazing. Access was through a separate door to the pub, so we didn't have to be back before the pub closed and could access the room any time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakasts were delicious and lots of choice on the menu. Lovely pub dog too! We would definitely stay here again."

The only thing that could be an issue might be air conditioning, but I’m saying that when writing this in the middle of a heat wave. The thick walls are a mitigation for this."
