"Standards seems to have gone down, quite a lot of dust around. The lift still being out of commission is a problem and doesn't seem to have been mentioned on the description. I believe this is a long term problem as the staff indicated that "spare parts" were no longer available. Very young staff and hit and miss service. Good position though."

"Unfortunately there was a large amount of building work going on and out room directly overlook the building work so no view whatsoever ever. Asked about a room change and the duty manager said there was nothing available didn’t offer any alternatives and didn’t ask if we would like to upgrade at a cost to ourselves. "

"We arrived 2 hours early but were told our room was ready! On asking if there was a room we could upgrade to, we were given a Suite. Wow! it was fabulous and really changed our whole experience. The extra private sitting room was such a bonus and we made the most of it. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful and when we had drinks in the bar/lounge the barman was friendly and really efficient. We only booked one breakfast on the day we were checking out and, again, breakfast staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful with good choices whatever your requirements are. We've stayed here before and would definitely stay again."
