"The decor and settings are amazing. However the facility and rooms may be showing signs of aging, or heavy use. The bathroom fixtures are peeling paint, the mattress in our room was slightly lumpy. The room having darker marble floors could use some “night lighting”. Which would help maneuver around in the dark. The tv also appears to need updating. The signal kept going in and out, the remote is old and outdated. For such a fine establishment I expected a bit more “up to date” in room features. We enjoyed our stay, no complaints but there is room for improvement. Thank you!"

"I stayed just one night before our cruise with 2 others and we had the suite #14. Upon arrival, no one was behind the reception desk and there were 2 people ahead of me waiting. When we entered the room (had to come l climb one flight of stairs with our many luggages) the room smelled extremely musty so we opened the window to air it out for a while.... later we just kinda got immune to it. The bathroom is quite nice and big with a huge hot tub. The location of the room is more quite than maybe most hotel rooms in South Beach. The next morning there was Dave at the front desk and he was extremely friendly and courteous. We asked about the coffee and croissant breakfast not realizing it was past 10am already at that time. Dave went above and beyond when he walked us over and helped us to get some very delicious coffee and croissant. He made the difference in our morning and the rating of our stay at this hotel. Someone needs to give him a raise quick!!"
