"Good traditional hotel. It takes 15 mns to get to the castle of Chinon. There are good restaurants 10 mns away by foot. Nice breakfast. Rude welcoming though."

"Great location within a small square with cafes, bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Public car park next to hotel which is free from 19:00 - 09:15 and not expensive during other times. We didn’t book breakfast but decided to have it. Such a good decision as breakfast was really good with almost too much of a selection. Pastries, breads, cereals, cheeses, hams, salmon, eggs, bacon, juices and much more."

"We have previously stayed at Domaine de Roiffe. Amazing appart/hotel with restaurant, bar, swimming pool and golf centre. Just driving in is always a pleasure with plenty of space to walk whilst there. Only disappointment was the restaurant. Previously the food has been magnificent, however this time all the main courses were very disappointing! We will stay there again but give the restaurant a miss next time"

"Nice location, easy to get to from train station and central to everything in town and the walking district. Room was nice and clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. Staff was flexible with check out which was great since we had to leave early. Breakfast was good but simple so if you are looking for more options, just note. If you have any food restrictions, not sure if you can mention ahead of time, but limited options of you have a dairy or gluten allergy. Note if you have trouble with...

"Beautiful historic location with a very kind owner. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. We assumed that breakfast was included with the rate for the room, and discovered when we checked out that we owed €17 per person per breakfast."
