"Having read some scary reviews, we were a little worried - but it was not at all Fawlty Towers. The building itself is magnificent - it's definitely the tallest room I've ever slept in. The roses in the walkway - such a scent. The gardens have a well-tended, shabby-chic feel where you can see the grandeur of the original planting being colonised by nature. The menu is expensive but if you are at all foody, go for it. It was delicious. If you are more budget-orientated there's a bistro just...

"Pour une première dans un F1, j'étais très agréablement surprise. Les douches et wc communs étaient très propres et régulièrement nettoyés. Le petit déjeuner suffisamment copieux et profitable autant pour les lève-tôt (6h) que pour les lève-tard (jusqu'à 10h). Personnel très agréable. Et un assez grand parking pour trouver une place de stationnement même de nuit."

"Nous avons informé du problème avec internet, celui-ci n'a jamais été résolé et aucun suivi n'était fait. Nous devions aller leur demander à chaque fois si l'internet était résolu. Aucun discount ou suivi lors de notre départ n'a été fait, ce que est dommage. "

"Beautiful chateaux with friendly owner. The chateaux is huge with very few rooms. Given the oldest part was built in 1115, you can expect that it is as clean as a modern 5 star hotel. Nevertheless, the bed is comfortable and the property has character. I would highly recommend staying there for the experience. BTW, the breakfast is also excellent with fresh squeezed apple juice from the property."
