Moncloa-Aravaca Travel Guide

Madrid

A nighttime cityscape with illuminated buildings and a calm lake reflecting the lights.
A central fountain with water jets, surrounded by a paved plaza and trees.
A sunset over a body of water with illuminated structures and trees.
A public fountain with water cascading down multiple tiers, surrounded by urban buildings and pedestrians.
A tall white building with a corner entrance, a red building with a clock tower, and a street lamp in the foreground.

If you want to discover the heart of Spain, we recommend a holiday in Aravaca, one of the most exclusive areas of Madrid.

Aravaca is one of the areas with the highest per capita income in Madrid. It was an independent town until the 1950s, when it was annexed to the capital city. It is currently part of the Moncloa-Aravaca district, and is just 5.5 miles from the Puerta del Sol.

Thanks to our range of cheap trips to Aravaca, you’ll be able to enjoy all these luxuries at the best price. Those travelling with young children will most likely want to spend most of their time in this area. Just a stone’s throw from the Casa de Campo, you’ll be hard pushed to get the little ones to leave the Amusement Park or Madrid Zoo. And to top off a pleasant day, there’s nothing better than taking the cable car and enjoying a beautiful sunset on the outskirts of the capital.

What are you waiting for? Find the option that best suits your needs from our range of package deals to Aravaca. The Iglesia de la Asunción de Nuestra Señora perfectly combines tradition and modernity. After the Civil War, only one wall was left standing, but the temple rose from the ashes and today, life in the neighbourhood revolves around this church. On sunny days, nothing beats a walk along the Pozuelo stream. The area is a lovely nature area where you can give your legs a workout with a bicycle, walk along the winding paths that accompany the channel of the Manzanares tributary, or simply sit on a bench and read a good book as you take in the fresh air.

Book your flight plus hotel to Aravaca for a well-deserved bit of rest and relaxation. Reaching your destination has never been so easy, as the neighbourhood has a local train station and several bus lines that run even at night. It is also very well connected by road, if you prefer to organise your holidays at your own pace and forget about the timetables of the buses and trains. In Aravaca, anything’s possible!
