"If you want basic, clean, accommodation, with very little by the way of "sizzle" then this place is for you. The staff were pleasant enough but certainly did not enhance our stay with great service. There is no lift to the second floor so travel very light ."
"The service at the restaurant is horrendous. They don’t have many places to eat and not enough staff. The wait for food is long and staff inattentive. A service charge of 12.5% is added. Stay elsewhere. The balmoral in Edinburgh is worth a stay. Not this place."
"Property is near the Glasgow airport and car rentals, something we wanted.
It is clean, staff is nice. We had some issues with toilets that wouldn’t flush properly.
Also the choices on the menu were not great.
Overall, we'd stay again in this hotel under similar circumstances."
"The accommodation was exemplary and the staff were both courteous and extremely helpful. The evening meal and breakfast the following morning was extremely enjoyable. My wife and I look forward to staying there again in the very near future."
"Parking outside. We wanted an early check in which caused a bit of confusion. Hotel sorted out something for us and on our return late at night our bags were in our room. We had a quiet room .
Location very good as near Western Ferries. Town is walkable but also a bus service near. "
"This place is pretty tired and no effort is made to make it look less tired than it is. The staff gives lots of good chat and is perfectly friendly but there was not much substance behind it. The milk I was promised for my room never materialised, room service was left in the hallway all day, etc. a charge for coffees at breakfast was added without being told there was a charge for « specialty ». Overall quite disappointing."
"Enjoyed our stay ,staff very good Andy exceptional, loved the bath hot water was a bonus.
Great location for touring the area just off main A road and surprisingly quiet. Excellent choice for breakfast.
Would stop again.
