"Parking behind the hotel was easy and convenient Staff was really pleasant Room was comfortable Breakfast was plenty to choose from, hubby loved the sausages A wonderful little gem in the middle a lovely long shopping street We will be back"

"We had a very good stay. The crew were friendly and welcoming, and the staff were helpful and polite. The room and property were well maintained, and the parking was very convenient. Everything was good, and we were happy with the service. We would definitely stay here again."

"It is a real find when looking for somewhere to stay in Wales. It is a Very quirky wedding / conference / restraunt venue. The food was excellent, and as the place is a little out of the way, it was great to be able to enjoy a meal and a lovely breakfast in situ! Great views at the back of the property but it is on a main road."

"The hotel is well maintained and presented. It feels recently refurbed. The room was good and the bed was super comfy! We had a rear facing room and it was very peaceful. The staff were bright and cheerful from the moment they met us to the moment we departed - that’s all staff, by the way, that we met. The entrance to the car park is tight but fine if you go slow and reverse a little to square up for the drive in. Excellent shopping / anmenities in town too. Overall, a very pleasant place for us to stay while visiting family locally. Will use again!"

"This country inn is great stop off for south wales with great food and the rooms, although a bit tired in places - couple of carpet stains and pulls and a teeny tiny bathroom with a wobbly cold tap - it was clean and the bed and bedding very comfortable. Breakfast was from 9:30 so not convenient if you’re stopping off on business and need an early start! Staff all very friendly and helpful. My room was above the outdoor garden benches so a bit noisy until closing time but it’s a pub so to be expected."

"An excellent stay at the Rose and Crown. Super convenient in the centre of town with a public car park about 100yards away. The room was great, very clean and well furnished. Shower was good and facilities in the room fine"

"Clean and tidy. Coffee and tea available. Shower and toilet across the hall. Nice breakfast with very friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient location with some parking outside and car park across the road. The only negative is the decor is a little tired."
