"We had an excellent stay at the Métropole Hotel. The staff are absolutely lovely! The breakfast was very good. Everything was clean. We really liked the place. (The only slight downside was the room door opening against the bed, which prevented it from opening fully.)"

"Lovely accommodation just out of town. Peaceful and quiet. Nice surprise having Shetland ponies in a paddock next to the accommodation. Will be back."

"The room was great being on the ground floor with easy access for disabled pensioner. Helpful staff. Warm room once heating kicked in. Parking excellent, just outside front door. Breakfast was supposed to be at Hotel Metropole but had finished serving at 8.40am so we missed out. Rooms could certainly do with an update, very 1970's vibe."

"We were 3 families sharing 2 apartments to explore Leura and do some bushwalking, it was a memorable time with friends, well supported by this accommodation. The kitchens were well stocked and bedrooms, bathrooms, plus sofa bed gave us flexibility to make sleeping arrangements we preferred. Adults and teenagers all enjoyed the stay thoroughly."

"Beautiful old hotel with loads of character and mountain charm. As with all older buildings they need maintenance to keep up there beauty…the Hydro Majestic could do with some minor repairs to maintain its historic charm. Definitely worth a stay and a casual drink at the Belgravia Bar next to fireplace."
