"We had some issue at check in but they turned out to be misunderstandings nothing more. I found the facility very good in fact above average in many ways. Loved the gym, pool and breakfast restaurant area and the front of house employees. My only beef was with the room. They checked me in to a room upgrade and strangely there was no desk chair or table in the room. I cant recall ever checking in to a 5 star hotel with no table chair or desk in the room. I was there on business and needed somewhere to work so they put me in a room with a desk. The lighting in the room was for relaxing not working and I asked for a lamp for the desk. It was provided immediately. I think the issue was people go to Outrigger for holiday and that's the way most of the rooms are set up. I asked for changes they were delivered immediately by outstanding front of house staff. Now to housekeeping. I only need my room cleaned every second day fixed. I want my bed made a certain way due to 7 months of chemo some years ago I cant sleep with any weight on my legs its very painful so I need only a top sheet no duvee it usually takes 3 attempts to get that right I hunted down housekeeping told the lady and she fixed it first go. One woman named Paii was amazing. The bed was amazing, bathroom spot on, the drying rack on my balcony for bathers and swim gear was perfect. One final and important point the buffet breakfast was exceptional just exceptional, I will be back. Thank you Outrigger."
