"Don't let the low price scare you away! This place is AMAZING! I booked the cheapest room and didn't expect much. It was large, clean and had a BALCONY with views of the ocean! Breakfast was included in the base price and it was a full breakfast with every breakfast food you can imagine! "The Mendolia Beach Hotel was the most pleasant hospitality my fiance and I had ever experienced. Located in the perfect area, ristorantes, cafes, piazzas and transportation are all within reach. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming and ready to assist their clients at any given moment. Never had my fiance and I encountered such a perfect mixture of qualities on our travels. We highly recommend this hotel, as it was truly the perfect place to stay, so much so that we will surely return....

"We loved this place! The only problem with our stay was that we were there only one night (because we were in transit from the Aeolian Islands to Catania). We want to return and stay longer. Our host, Andrea, was wonderful! He gave us a great deal of helpful information about Taormina and provided free transportation when we arrived and departed. The location is very good--away from the noise and bustle of the central area but close enough that one can easily walk to and from that area."

"Perfect location, right on the mains street and over the road from ‘restaurant alley’ as we called it. It’s worth considering that the B&B is up 50 steps from the street. Our room was comfortable and a good size, quiet with the shutters closed. A continental breakfast was provided in the room and we had a fridge which was a bit noisy but couldn’t hear anything with my earplugs in. Francesca was very sweet and helpful. Highly recommended. "
