"Absolutely superb hotel, stunning interior, fitting modern amenities in with the historic interior design. Excellent on site restaurant with the exceptional waiter. The food was excellent especially the venison casserole with broccoli and then the chocolate chilli for dessert 🍨. Not forgetting the superb breakfast."

"Wonderful place to stay and staff were amazing. Food excellent and service amazing. Rooms and hotel dated but really lovely. A beautiful place to stay."

"The hotel was well set up and modern. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent."

"Had a two night stay which was great. Huge room with super comfortable bed. Excellent shower, probably the best we've had on our UK holiday. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant and all the staff were nice, polite and attentive Five star stay and would stay again"

"Lovely"

"We had an amazing stay from start to finish. Ian gave us a tour if the castle along with a history. The rooms were cozy, the bed was very comfortable. The owners even gave us a ride to the tram when we were unable to find a taxi. Sue and Ian are a friendly helpful couple. "

"Excellent stay, very relaxing! Lovely spa and thoroughly recommend a massage, excellent."

"Great hotel, would stay again!"

"Great location in a beautiful little town, very friendly staff (especially the lady on shift for breakfast), clean room. Would go again."

"The rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet. Our group of 4 had excellent service and a great breakfast. We only stayed one night and wish we could have be there multiple days. The location was very convenient to explore Dunbar by foot. Would highly recommend this hotel to others."

"Staff were wonderful. Location was great. We will definitely stay here again"

"the property was well situated for travel to Edinburgh, but the Restuarant had been sold and was closed. Also some of the staff were borderline rude."

"A lovely wee place in the city centre, so close to the beach as well. The place itself was excellent, with a lovely host. Enjoyed our stay very much."

"The only word to describe the holiday home and the whole experience is perfect. I can't use the word caravan and it's better than that it's a true home from home. It had everything you need and more.. Kids loved the fast broadband and smart TV. There was a welcome basket with things you need for your first night.. I would recommend this home to anybody and everybody xxx"

"Great hotel..even better Breakfast.."

"The location is exceptional as it is in town and wonderful views. The house is very clean and lots of room. This would be perfect for a family or group of golfers. The property manager was helpful with the washing machine. It is not luxury, it is a little more spartan but charming. I would definitely come back."
