"Lovely traditional property in a beautiful place"

"Almost excellent. Charming. Beautifully decorated. Convenient to Aarhus & Silkeborg. Rooms could have used a lick of fresh paint and bathrooms needed updating. Also a vacuum in the hallway. Dinner in the dining room was very well prepared, albeit with a limited menu. Could easily be so much more. Still, we enjoyed it more than the star ratings suggest. So romantic!"

"Vi boede i kroens anneks med vores schæferhund. Annekset var ideelt når man har hund med. Personalet var venlige og hjælpsomme. Restauranten var super god, og vi fik en fantastisk fire-retters menu. Morgenmaden var også rigtig god og varieret. Eneste minus er måske at der ingen skraldespande var at finde udenfor, hvilket er uundværligt, når man har hund med :-)"

"Very friendly personnel, nice place, but my room at the motel part was not so nice : only one ridiculously small window that if opened was easily for someone to unlock safety lock at door ( for a single woman travelling made it a bit worrying), not opening the window: made room too hot to sleep. Also that window gave no privacy as it's along the door unless you unroll the blinder and make the room dark. "A very nice stay in Silkeborg. Lovely helpful staff at check-in. Nice and spacious suite 9 in the old building. I wouldn’t choose a room in the main building which has the feeling still of an old hospital in the corridors. The hotel has a very nice garden setting and peaceful location just outside the city centre and close to a beautiful lakeside swimming area. Easy parking onsite. Lovely lounge and bar area with board games for evening relaxing and nice breakfast room with outside over the...

"What a fantastic hotel. Very clean. Numerous things for the children to keep themselves occupied with such as table tennis and a pool table. Great breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. We'd definitely go back. Plenty of parking."

"The room is inside an old cottage. The bathroom downstairs has no cover on its small window - which could have been replaced with stained glass or even stickers easily for more privacy. Lots of crackling sound when walking on upper floor, which is normal for this type of property. Bright sides: Clean room. Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff. Free parking. Nice nature around the area."

"Great location, quiet, close to shops. However no reception staff on duty at 3pm on a weekday. We locked ourselves out of our room tried to contact thrm by phone and email. No response. Luckily a fellow guest helped us. Also a group of youths were accessing the secure property without authorisation. Reported this the next day, they said they knew about it, but obviously hadnt taken too many steps to fix the issue, which was a little unsettling"
