"Antoinette went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! We were celebrating my elderly mother’s birthday and they took her limited mobility into consideration as well and made us very comfortable. Staff was wonderful. Property is well maintained and the hot tub is a nice touch!thank you!"

"We were in town for a concert and spent two nights at the El Rey. We were discussing what we might do as the concert was the second night when we pulled in and saw they had a band on the marquee. We're from Texas - we knew the act. So we stayed at the hotel, got dinner from the on-site food truck, drank at the bar, and had a blast meeting other folks (discovered some awesome people who would be attending the same concert the next night and caught up with them there). We had great Santa Fe weather: bright and sunny with cool winds, big clouds. The El Rey feels like home: classic NM style with adobe structures, but modern amenities and big comfy beds. Our room had casement windows, a nice option to let the lovely air inside. Lots of big trees and native plants on the grounds. The atmosphere is friendly and easy-going. A lot of folks with dogs, and that's always going to be a plus for me. Tiny bar inside but great service and plenty of places to take your drink and sit - including a few outdoor areas with chairs around firepits. The next day they had a pool party with live music. I was sad to leave. Thanks El Rey for making our trip so comfortable and fun."

"The property was well decorated but needed some repairs. The plumbing especially needed updating. The toilets and faucets did not work properly. I believe the filters is the shower heads and faucets needed to be replaced. There was no Wi-Fi and only one small tv."
