"The hotel is located in Shinjuku, which is very convenient for shopping. It’s also not too far from Shinjuku Station, making it easy to get to other parts of Tokyo. There are many restaurants downstairs, and they stay open late. The room is not very big, but it’s quite good by Tokyo standards."

"The property and the rooms were lovely. Excellent linens, L'Occitane bath amenities, perfectly clean. Very spacious by Tokyo standards, everything perfect. The garden behind the hotel is gorgeous. We struggled a bit with the western breakfast, it was expensive for what it was, but there are no other options in walking distance for breakfast. The bar experience was also tricky, it was full sometimes and we couldn't get in - but when we did the offerings were very nice. For a late afternoon drink we had better luck at the tea salon, they had beer/wine/champagne. The location is way out of the core of the city - we found that once we figured out how to use the city bus we were easily able to get to the subway stops without a long walk. Cabs were always plentiful. Overall, it's a gorgeous property with excellent service, a little oasis in Tokyo."

"Frontdesk staff was Super nice. Although some people at the desk were unaware the hotel had drop off laundry options. The rooms cluld use some sort of AC unit in the room besides the small floor unit. For the amount of money spent i felt like being hot and sweaty in our room at night with no way to open a window was harsh. Great location, part of sunshine city mall and near the Ikebukuro station and Ikebukuro station. Nothingreally starts opening up until about 9 or 10 am Added plus, the cute ikibus stops outside the lobby"

"A fantastic one-night stay - just remember that the lobby is on the 2nd floor. The hotel had everything we needed, and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in English."
