First of all, the room was DIRTY! Dust on surfaces especially in the bathroom. We didn't feel like using the tub because we doubt it was properly cleaned and sanitized. There was also dust and a few spots (from who knows what) on the TV remote. No English channel so TV was useless. The bathroom is obviously old and needs a good scrubbing. Even the shower door handles and shower heads need some cleaning. Or better yet, replace them! No towel racks for you to place towels or clothes when you shower.
We had adjoining rooms. The temperature in my room was easy to control. My niece's room, however, was ALWAYS FREEZING! No matter how we control the thermostat her room would still be so cold.
The staff tries their best to communicate but most need help to be able to communicate in English. So communicating was always a challenge.
Location:
It is in Railay East. No swimmable beach on this part. You have to go to Railay West which is just a few minutes walk. The whole Railay isn't really that big. One good thing about the location is that it is very close to the floating pier where you can get a long-tail boat to get to mainland Krabi.
This hotel does NOT offer tour ticket assistance, nor do they offer to arrange a ride to the mainland and/or around mainland Krabi. But they are able to arrange both boat and car ride to the airport. If they can do that for airport transfer, why can't they arrange a van for guests to use in mainland Krabi?
