Malindi

"The hotel is beautiful, has a lovely pool but it is far away in farmer’s field and very difficult to find. Google maps sent me in the wrong direction. DIANI BEACH GOLD APARTMENTS

Diani Beach

"A great find! The room was spacious and well maintained, the host was lovely, and it was a close walk to numerous stalls with a variety of goods and amazing fresh produce. Having a kitchen allowed me to stay in if I wanted, but the apartment was also close to bars and restaurants. There is a close-by bar that plays loud music, but not super late, and I actually liked hearing the local music. The people I met were so friendly! And really, the host was very accommodating and responded to questions...

Top Kenya Coast Hotel Reviews

Jacaranda Indian Ocean Beach Resort

8/10 Good

"Excellent staff and a great beachfront property. One of the best deals for the price I’ve been to. Excursions available at the hotel are very good. And the food is great on my half board plan. Could use a bit more maintenance but the travel economy in Kenya right now isn’t strong and I think that’s a big factor."

PrideInn Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa Mombasa

8/10 Good

"The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were spotlessly clean and the pool was a lovely temperature. We did have a couple of ‘niggles’ whereby upon checkin there was an old bed-frame and mattress outside our room which we had to ask to be moved. It also wasn’t made clear that there would be building work going on at the hotel when we booked. This was very close to the pool area which meant there was constant building related noise from around 8am until 6pm. It wasn’t a massive problem for us but it may affect other people’s enjoyment."
