"For the village, the accommodation is not too bad however the lighting in the room was poor and the door to the bathroom was broken. For 60$ it’s not value for money. It’s more like a 30$ place. Positives were the staff who were very kind and went above and beyond. Their food was also really good! Good breakfast totally worth it but I would not stay here again"

"This property is located up a steep rocky/dirt road. Once you get there, the view of Homa Bay is wonderful! We were disappointed that in their listing it stated that they had Wi-Fi all over the property. In reality, there wasn't Wi-Fi anywhere. As it turned out there really wasn't Wi-Fi anywhere in Homa Bay. Our room was quite noisy as the outdoor kitchen was below our window. There was banging and activity going on day and night. Despite all of this, the staff was wonderful! They were helpful...

"This was the ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL/RESORT EVER!!!! Bait and switch!!! The property is completely run down, the room was awful, they had a 24 inch computer monitor as a tv (that didn’t work)!!! The net for the mosquitos was dirty. Let’s get to the bathroom, the tiles were worn, cracked!!! The water was cold( was told the hot water WAS on, but was not!!!) The water fixtures came apart!!! The towel were still looking dirty!!! Then there was a huge trail of ants (small ants) by the door...
