"Such a strange place.
It is trying so hard to be amazing but falls short in many ways.
A few examples:
The staff enter the rooms almost every time you exit them. Even if just for a quick breakfast. This ruins any feeling of privacy.
The place is located very close to the end of the runway at Johannesburg airport. This means that there is so much noice from planes landing and taking off!
Within the walls it is like an oasis, but the surroundings are industrial and ugly.

"When I checked in the room key machine wasn’t working so they had to open the door for me each time I left. They acted like it would be fixed in two hours but then found out the IT person wouldn’t be in until the morning to fix it. They should have told me that when I checked in! Also my room didn’t have working heat. They said it would be fixed in the morning. Breakfast was great. "The hotel is clean, beds are comfortable, and hotel was quiet. The breakfast staff are exceptional !!! They were friendly , helpful, huge smiles, and amazing. They even allowed me an early packed breakfast so that I could attend a scheduled tour and have food ! The front desk staff was helpful as well. Only negative is the restaurant/ bar were closed, creating g a need to Uber food after breakfast."
