"We did not pay for the breakfast. The hotel is modern, has a hip feel to it and the location is unbeatable. Amenities we used: coin laundry, luggage transfer service (not part of the hotel).
I wish there were better small things that would make our stay (with 2 little kids) more memorable: bottle of water, some kid activity welcome gift/snack, honestly a coloring sheet would do it, but there wasn't anything like that. It would be a nice touch.
Everything else was fine, clean, small room, amazing views... Just that one little thing that makes you go...awww that's nice!"
"The biggest drawback to the Royal Park iconic is that you have to buy the full breakfast. You can’t just have a coffee or a continental breakfast. In order to just have a coffee you need to go outside of the hotel to the Starbucks or convenience store. It was very upsetting that no matter what we said we were not allowed in the breakfast area just to have coffee. A second drawback is that there is only news channels on the TV in English. There was no way to watch a movie or any other show in English or with subtitles. We found this very surprising for such an upscale hotel."
